1.2 Goals and Objectives

Open to edit Document

The primary goal of this whitepaper is to present a comprehensive and detailed outline of the proposed governance framework for the SingularityNET Ambassadors program.

To achieve this goal, the Governance Framework:

  1. Encourages open and iterative discussion, feedback, and collaboration within the SingularityNET community and among other stakeholders to continuously refine and improve the framework to meet the program's goals and objectives;

  2. Provides an overview of its key components, including the use of project/guild native assets, token cycles, workgroup and guild-specific decision-making processes, and the implementation of NFTs for capturing participation;

  3. Defines and explains the core principles and assumptions that underpin the governance framework, emphasizing aspects such as decentralization, empowerment of contributors, and the importance of diversity and inclusion;

  4. Offers guidance and strategies for implementing and adopting the governance framework, including a transition plan, stakeholder involvement mechanisms, community onboarding paths towards ecosystem education, and monitoring and evaluation processes;

  5. Contributes to the broader discourse on decentralized governance within AI and blockchain ecosystems by providing well-defined and practical models that can be adapted and adopted by other projects and communities; and

  6. Provides guidance for members to develop collaborative engagement with entities inside and outside the SingularityNET ecosystem.

By addressing these objectives, it is our hope that the Governance framework document facilitates a deeper understanding of our governance mission and objectives, including the potential benefits for the SingularityNET Ambassadors program and the wider decentralized AI ecosystem.

To put it a different way, the organic, interconnected and interdependent, yet autonomous approach taken by the SingularityNet Ambassadors program is comparable to the way cells work in the human body. Each has a specific role and function but when many work together they can achieve far beyond what any one can do in isolation. In this sense, the SIngularityNET project is the body and our participants and contributors, the cells.
