Recap

This DeepFunding Town Hall, the first of its kind is a SingularityNET community initiative in collaboration with the SingularityNET Foundation and aims to explore and establish a open space for the community to present projects and ideas, to meet and to connect and to provide guidance for ecosystem participants on their journey.

This event provides an overview of SingularityNET, DeepFund, and the speaker for the day. The presentation then delves into the mission, purpose, and values of SingularityNET, as well as its strategy for artificial general intelligence (AGI). The SNET platform and marketplace are explained, along with its ecosystem and technology stack.

DeepFund, a decentralized governance experiment, is then introduced and its background, guiding principles, and round 2 funding pools are discussed. The DeepFund portal and its features, functionalities, and feedback loop are explained, as well as the reporting and rewarding scheme for funded proposers. The community asked various questions, such as the difference between the ideation phase and new projects, balancing governance and rewards, the timing of the next round, the proposal journey and learning process, and more. The outlook for the next governance discussion is teased and attendees are encouraged to join future meetings.
